This incident resulted in the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Police detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
